A regular day for campers begins around 7:30 a.m., and usually ends around 9 p.m. for younger campers and 10 p.m. for older campers. Campers are supervised at all times during the day.
After lunch campers can choose to rest, hang out with their friends or join in the activities of one of the clubs that meet each day. Clubs include drama, art, cooking, sports, Glee, photography and comedy.
Campers spend at least one activity period each day at the pool. We have a large range of equipment to ensure that everyone can enjoy swimming. Frequently there is a swimming instructor on staff, and lessons are available.
In the evening we come together around the stage area where the campers enjoy some friendly competition with one another playing games, putting on shows, or enjoying entertainment provided by local talent.
A typical day's activities can include basketball, arts and crafts, computers, baseball, sailing, golf, swimming, tennis and much more. Campers may also participate in trips to the beach, a traveling carnival, the circus, parties at Board members' homes, movies, horseback riding, and the beach. There are so many activities, both at the camp and in the East End, that campers are busy all day, every day!
