The staff at the Southampton Fresh Air Home come from all over the world. Most are students preparing to work in related professions such as education, physical therapy and occupational therapy. They are dedicated young men and women who want to spend a summer where they feel they can make a real difference in the lives of others.
Being a staff member is not an easy job. It is both physically demanding and sometimes emotionally draining. It challenges you in so many ways, but the rewards are worth the hard work. Many former staff members tell us their work at SFAH was a life transforming experience for them.
