During this difficult time we are all enduring, Southampton Fresh Air Home would like to express our thoughts to all of those who are affected by this pandemic. We sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.

As a non-profit founded in 1901, SFAH is no stranger to crisis.  Having endured two world wars, the Spanish Influenza pandemic of 1918 and the Great Depression, we have lived through difficult periods. SFAH was on the front lines serving many children affected by the polio epidemic.  Thanks to our rich history and continued support by our community, we continue to adapt and persevere during these trying times.

While our services are reduced temporarily, we continue to serve as many campers as possible based on the day-to-day changing guidelines and regulations. We are currently offering virtual programs to our physically disabled children and young adults which provide for a great distraction and socialization for many.

For 32 years, SFAH has provided Southampton’s Fourth of July weekend Grucci fireworks celebration as part of our signature American Picnic fundraiser.  The event raises over 25% of our annual operating revenue.  Although our ability to celebrate together at the Picnic has been cancelled, we hope you will still choose to support the fireworks in order to sustain our programs and provide continued patriotism for our American celebration.   We hope that we can count on you to sponsor Southampton’s cherished fireworks and our ongoing programs for physically disabled children.

Your support will be acknowledged in the Southampton Press and through SFAH social media and website.       We thank you in advance for your generosity!
